	Customer Reviews: Average Rating: Rating : - Defective and Poor Customer Service I purchased this scanner on 09/25/08. When I tested it out, it had very poor digital reception. So I sent it to Uniden to have it repaired. I should have returned it to the place of purchase for a new one, but since I thought it wasn't their fault it didn't work, that I would just send it back to Uniden for repair. BOY that was a mistake! I received my scanner back from Uniden on 10/25/08. It was in the same condition that I sent it to them. Same problem. Digital reception was all garbled. Well, I called them and asked if i could have a new one. They said no way. I had to send it back again. Its now Dec. 1,08 and I checked the status of my scanner online it says it needs a part. It states that it will be TWO or MORE weeks before thay get the part. Then when they do finally get around to sending it back, they send it the slowest way possible. The first time they sent my scanner to me it took 10 days. So it will be 3 months at least before I get a working scanner. I spoke to supervisor at Uniden. He gave me his email address ([...]) so I could deal with him directly. Well I wrote to him 5 times so far. He responded 1 time. And that time i threatened to review my experience with Uniden.
