Rating : - Desperately needs an update
All technology and frequencies referenced are over 15 years old at this point. That's several lifetimes in scanning. For example, trunking and digital transmission are referred to as future technologies! Sadly, as a result, over half of the book is obsolete to the point of being useless.

In its day it was deep enough to keep your average hobbyist busy for several years. Were the author to update it this would be one of the best reference manuals around.
