Rating : - My godson's favorite Christmas present
I'm Portuguese, and my godson is half Portuguese on his Mothers side. However, he's a bit reluctant to learn Portuguese, even though his maternal grandparents speak it around him all the time. I purchased this to try to get him to at least learn the basics.

The book ended up being a big hit at Christmas. When the entire family got together we all ended up taking turns reading the book...there are still some words that I don't use and that I didn't know, and a lot of the other family members were in the same boat. It turned out to be my Godson's favorite Christmas present.

This is a very quality book and I'm sure anyone purchasing it will not be disappointed. In fact, you'll probably be pleasantly surprised as I was at how entertaining this book is when you thought you were just buying a reference book.
