If you are into the "New Age" concepts as a way of life and believe in reincarnation then you may enjoy reading this book. Story is supposedly telepathically channeled to the author by Boomerang, the Boston Terrier, and translated by the author.

The main impression of the story is unconditional love and kindness, a wonderful thing for sure but you can't miss it as it is repeated numerous times throughout the chapters. I, as some of the other reviewers, had a difficult time getting through all three sections. The redundancy of descriptions, repetition of concepts, and wordiness was wearing.

I do not think this book is for children because it definitely introduces concepts and beliefs that could be over way over their heads. On the other hand, since it is written from the perspective of the undeniably cute and lovable dog, it is not hard for animal lovers to believe that he would think and communicate in the way portrayed.
